According to meteorologist Scott Doonan, in February in Europe, many countries reached record values:

💠In Austria, record breaking temperatures for the last 250 years, there was an increase in temperature by 5.8°C compared to previous years. The last record in Austria was set in 1996.
💠In Poland, there was also a record high: the temperature is 7.5°C above normal. February 20024 was the warmest February in the history of the country.
💠Hungary had a record high, which was 7 degrees higher than between 1992 and 2020.
💠In the Czech Republic, February also became the warmest in history, breaking the previous record by 2 degrees.
💠In Germany, where data is available since 1881, record temperatures have also been observed.
💠Although it was still cooler in the UK than in other parts of Europe, records were still broken as the Bureau of Meteorology announced that it was the warmest February on record.
